Originally established in summer of 1998, under the then moniker Extreme Futuristic Wresting, EFW had a very successful be it controversial run promoting independent wrestling shows throughout Northeast Ohio before closing its doors in 2005.
After ownership being disputed (the entity was tied up in a family trust), in 2019 trademarks were filed and EFW was re-branded Extreme Fight World, a combat sports/sports entertainment company focused on producing MMA/wrestling based entertainment content.
Not much is known as to what the exact nature of the content will be, but according to sources close to ownership, all will be made known within the next 30 days via the website and various social media outlets.
